Rum Raisin Shake

This shake tastes just like Rum Raisin ice cream but is way better for you!

Rum Raisin
Herbalife Cookies and Cream Formula 1 (2 scoops)
  Herbalife Vanilla PDM (1.5 scoops)
  Handful of dark raisins*
  Rum Extract
  Vanilla Extract
  Almond Extract
  Ice
  Water

  * the darker and less sweet the raisins are the better this shake will taste!

Helpful Hint: Blend a small amount of water with the raisins and Herbalife powders before adding the other ingredients. Dried raisins don't always blend well and this will help prevent raisins accumulating at the bottom of your shake.

Rosemary Infused Shortbread Shake

This shake tastes just like rosemary shortbread cookies! If you have never tried these delicacies you are missing out!

Rosemary Infused Shortbread
Herbalife Vanilla Formula 1 (2 scoops)
Herbalife Vanilla PDM (1.5 scoops)
1.5 tsp Jello Sugar Free Butterscotch Mix
0.5 tsp Jello Sugar Free Cheesecake Mix
Caramel extract
Vanilla extract
1 scoop Oats
0.5 tsp rosemary
Water
Ice

Although putting rosemary in your shake may seem like a strange idea, it blends really well and pulls out a lot of the flavours of caramel and vanilla. As an aromatic herb rosemary is a great addition to a lot of vanilla based flavours.

Trail Mix Shake

This is the perfect shake if you like granola bars and want to add some healthier ingredients to your diet.

Trail Mix

Herbalife Cookies and Cream Formula 1 (2 scoops)
Herbalife Vanilla PDM (1.5 scoops)
1 tsp Jello Sugar Free Pistachio Pudding mix
Oats (1 scoop)
Handful of your favourite Trail Mix*
Water
Ice

* For this shake I used a pre-made mix of raw almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, unsweetened cranberries, and golden grapes.

Before It's Blended

Helpful Hint 1: If you don't have a trail mix try adding peanuts, almonds, and chocolate chips!

Helpful Hint 2: This shake is nutritious and not too sweet, but if you want a more sweet & salty flavour try adding roasted or salted nuts. It isn't as nutritious, but it certainly tastes good.

Banana Bread Protein Cookies

These cookies may not look like Banana Bread, but they taste just like it, without any of the guilt!

Banana Bread Protein Cookies
1 egg
1/2 cup oats
Herbalife Vanilla PDM (2 scoops)
1/4 tsp banana extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp cinnamon
water (for consistency)

Bake for 15 min at 350 degrees or until brown.

This is for a small batch of oat cookies. They have almost no sugar but are sweet nonetheless.

Helpful Hint 1: These cookies do not have any leavening agent in them, so when you arrange them on the baking sheet you ought to take this into account.

Helpful Hint 2: Oats tend to absorb moisture. For more flavourful and moist cookies let the mixture sit 5 min and then add additional water as needed before transferring to a baking sheet.

Helpful Hint 3: These cookies go well with anything that normally goes in banana bread, try adding chopped walnuts or chocolate ships! Also try adding mashed bananas!

Creme Brûlée Shake

This shake is designed to bring out the smooth vanilla custard flavour of a creme brûlée complete with the torched caramel hints.

Vanilla Creme Brûlée
Herbalife Vanilla Formula 1 (2 scoops)
Herbalife Vanilla PDM (1.5 scoops)
Jello Coconut Creme Mix (0.5 tsp)
Jello Butterscotch Pudding Mix (1.5 tsp)
Caramel Extract
Vanilla Extract
Ice
Water
Oats (1 scoop)

Note: Creme Brûlées tend to come in many flavours although vanilla is traditional. Try adding lemon zest, rosemary, chocolate, instant coffee, green tea powder, pistachio jello mix, or fruit (or fruit extracts) to your shake to change it up!

Dark Chocolate Cherry Swirl

Because I've been wanting to make fancy Herbalife popsicles (Coming Soon), I decided to test the viscosity of different flavoured shakes and came up with this slightly more complicated recipe.

Dark Chocolate Cherry Swirl
For the base:
1 tsp sugar free white chocolate jello mix
Herbalife Vanilla Formula 1 (2 scoops)
Herbalife Vanilla PDM (1.5 scoops)
water
ice

-Separate in half-

For the cherry:
Handful of sweet (but not sweetened) frozen cherries
Raspberry extract (but only a tiny bit to bring out the more tart flavour of the cherries)

For the dark chocolate:
1 tsp Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Powder (unsweetened)*
Caramel Extract

The cherries provide a fresh, tart flavour and make a really nice pink colour, while the dark chocolate powder adds no sugar and is full of antioxidants and iron.

*The reason I did not use the Herbalife Chocolate Formula 1 or PDM for this recipe is because it is really important to make sure both the cherry and the chocolate shakes are the same, slightly thicker, viscosity so that they will not run together when you mix them. By using the same base, which includes  jello mix to help make it thicker, the two flavours can be poured on top of one another to make a swirl.

Cranberry Orange Scone Shake

This shake is tart and delicious! It also is a vibrant pink!

Cranberry Orange Scone

Herbalife Cookies and Cream Formula 1 (1 scoop)
Herbalife Vanilla Formula 1 (1 scoop)
Herbalife Vanilla PDM (1.5 scoops)
Handful of Cranberries
Oats (2 scoops)
Vanilla extract
Mucinex Orange Fibre (1 teaspoon)
Ice
Water

The cranberries provide antioxidants and are good for women's health. The extra fibre gives a distinct orange flavour.

Note: Don't overdo the fibre. While it helps with the flavours of this shake you still want to be careful. Herbalife offers an assortment of fibre supplements in different flavours that may be a better replacement.
